The Main Commission of ICRP

The International Commission on Radiological Protection is an independent Registered Charity, established to advance for the public benefit the science of radiological protection, in particular by providing recommendations and guidance on all aspects of protection against ionising radiation.

The Main Commission comprises 12 members and a Chairman, assisted by the Scientific Secretary. Members are elected for four-year terms, with the proviso that no less than 3 and no more than 5 of the members must be replaced each time. A list of members is attached. There is also a photo (62 kb).
